The Cat Is Out Of The Bag About 'United States Of Europe' By Ex German Leader
Well we knew it all along didn't we, they may have been trying to hide it from the normal men and women in the street, but the aim of what the EU wants to be has actually been stated by former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. He considers that the UK is the biggest problem in Europe, because we want to have a voice when it comes to British matters (I've heard it all now, but arrogance that the UK should just roll over and die takes the biscuit!). Comedian John Cleese States London Is No Longer An English City
John Cleese, the famous comedian who supports the Liberal Democrats, has made headlines in both the Daily Mail and the Daily Express today by declaring that London is no longer an English city. In fact he said his friend asked, when visiting London, “where are all the English people”. Where, indeed, has our culture gone when there is no evidence of it in London and it’s even remarked on by a Liberal Democrat! Cameron has already admitted multiculturalism doesn’t work, but does nothing about controlling immigration. Could it be that even the luvvies realise we are losing our cultures and traditions as people fail to mix into our society?
Germany Tiring of Eurozone Problems
Many people think it will be Germany itself who will bring an end to the Euro and then the EU itself. Well UKIP’s MEP Marta Andreasen has explained just exactly what is happening in Germany’s government in respect of the Euro crisis. It seems that Merkel can no longer secure a backing for the ‘rescue plan’ devised by herself and Mr Sarkozy in respect of the Eurozone, as she no longer as enough votes to do so. Spain Stops Freedom of EU Workers Arriving
Spain has become the first country to use a Safeguard Clause to restrict the free movement of workers within the European Union. On the 28th July 2011, the Spanish government requested a restriction of movement of Romanian workers entering their country because of the serious disturbances to their labour market. Romanian immigrants have risen from 388,000 in 2006 to 823,000 in 2010, 30% of them being unemployed. The temporary measure has been allowed until 31 December 2012.
Whilst this has happened in Spain, it was announced in the Daily Mail yesterday that only UK businesses in the South are still recruiting whilst many companies in the North are shedding jobs. The Mail reports that this has ‘raised fears that an unemployment timebomb is looming’. How long will it be before we are in the same position as Spain, as workers from other EU countries still pour in, including those who come straight here to live on benefits.
This is one to watch closely, to see which other member countries follow Spain as their individual economies spiral downwards with the recession. It may well be the start of the end of freedom of movement between EU countries for unrestricted immigration. How would this leave the whole EU ideology?
Also see full information regarding Spain from UKIP MEP Trevor Colman’s thEUnit.com and The Daily Mail ‘It’s going to be grimmer up North: Jobs divide set to widen across Britain as only employers in South continue to recruit’.

David Cameron's Empty Answer To Why We Belong In The EU - Courtesy his Secretary
In the Express on Sunday, there is a copy of a letter sent to Conservative activist Anita Segar. Ms Segar had written to the Prime Minister in respect of a referendum on EU membership. The Prime Minister's political secretary, Laurence Mann, responded, and below is a copy of the letter. It would appear that the arrogance of a government, who are totally out of touch with the people they are supposed to be representing, has no bounds. Please note the reasons Mr Mann gives for staying in the EU, and why we pay approx £50,000,000 a day to belong to this organisation. It would appear that Mr Mann is struggling for words and fails to provide any evidence of any benefits to the UK. (See full articles The Letter sent by David Cameron's Political Secretary and PM will not have EU Referendum
Dear Ms Segar
I am writing on behalf of the Prime Minister to thank you for your letter of 12 July regarding our membership of the EU.
We understand the strength of feeling of some who would prefer us not to be in the EU at all and that, like you, would like an in/out referendum to take place. There are some perfectly respectable arguments in favour of holding such a referendum. But there are also many strong counter-arguments, such as the fact that we had a referendum on that issue in 1975, which produced a very clear result.
There is also one argument, in particular, against holding such a referendum that we find irrefutably powerful, namely that most people in our country want to say neither ‘yes’ to everything from the EU, nor ‘no’ to everything.
The EU is not a matter of everything or nothing. We have, in the past, done well in ensuring that Britain can participate in the collective good carried out by the EU, such as free markets, while keeping out of things that we believe would be bad for our country. For example, we are not part of the Schengen Zone but have kept control of our own border controls, just as, crucially, we have kept the pound.
And we should not lose sight of the EU’s very useful work, such as ensuring that all the nations of Europe are equipped to face the biggest challenges of the 21st Century: global competitiveness, global warming and global poverty. These are compelling arguments for why we believe Britain should be an active member.
Of course the EU has some serious failings too, and there are certainly areas where its powers should be reduced. But a simplistic in/out referendum – posing an artificial choice that does not do justice to the range of views in the country – would be highly unlikely to settle the question of Britain’s membership of the EU at all.
Rather, the government believes it much more effective to use the weight of our membership to negotiate and force positive change.
The Government has also introduced a European Union Bill, currently before Parliament, which will give Parliament and voters more say over important EU decisions. This new legislation will ensure that if, in the future, there is a change to EU Treaties that move a power or an area from the UK to the EU, the Government of the day will have to ask for the British people’s consent in a national referendum before it can be agreed. This ‘referendum lock’ ensures that politicians in Whitehall will never again be able to hand over more power to Brussels without asking the British people first.
The Bill also places on a statutory footing the principle that Parliament is sovereign and that EU law only takes effect in the UK by virtue of the will of our own Parliament, expressed through Acts of Parliament.
Of course, in its first year in office this Government has been highly active on many other EU issues. We have made a good start in bringing the hitherto inexorable rise of the EU budget under control, saving taxpayers hundreds of millions of pounds. We have ensured that from 2013, Britain can no longer be liable from Eurozone bail-outs, another legacy from the Labour Government we have had to sort out.
And we are pushing forward measures that will be of benefit to Britain: making sure an EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement was reached, which will mean big new opportunities for British businesses; and ensuring that the lifting of regulatory burdens on businesses, particularly small businesses, is firmly on the EU agenda. We have achieved a good deal in getting the countries of the EU to use their collective weight in the world effectively, such as on tough, targeted sanctions on Iran or action to help countries moving towards democracy in the southern Mediterranean.
The Prime Minister fully understands that our membership of the EU incites strong feels (sic) in many people. But I hope this goes some way to explaining why we believe that an in/out referendum would be highly unlikely properly to settle the question of Britain’s membership of the EU, and also how we are securing the best deal for British people through our active and positive membership, while ensuring that our national sovereignty is protected in the future. Please be reassured that the Prime Minister would never allow our country to slide into a federal Europe.
Yours sincerely
Laurence Mann
Here below are a few points that both Mr Cameron and Mr Mann ought to think about!
1. "We understand the strength of feeling of some who would prefer us not to be in the EU at all and that, like you, would like an in/out referendum to take place. There are some perfectly respectable arguments in favour of holding such a referendum. But there are also many strong counter-arguments, such as the fact that we had a referendum on that issue in 1975, which produced a very clear result." The strong counter arguments are never put in the public arena, in fact the main British television news and some national newspapers carry very little, or no news at all about EU powers over Britain, or, in fact, any benefits that have been evident. So one can only assume that there are no benefits. To say we had a vote in 1975 about entering the EU is a falsehood, the majority of the public hadn't realised that Edward Heath had already signed on the dotted line a couple of years earlier, actually, the referendum was 'should we stay in the EU'. It was sold to the public as purely a common market for trade and job movement within Europe. The document displayed in thEUnit.com website called 'Sovereignty and the European Communities' FCO 30/1048 - 1971, was an advisory document for ministers in respect of how the British public would take to the news of losing their sovereignty. This document was kept top secret for 30 years! So the full proposals of Britain losing its sovereignty was never released at the time of voting.
2. "There is also one argument, in particular, against holding such a referendum that we find irrefutably powerful, namely that most people in our country want to say neither ‘yes’ to everything from the EU, nor ‘no’ to everything." Mr Cameron knows that he is not delivering to the British public what they want, to be an independent country without being ruled by the EU, so he ignores what the majority of the people in Britain want. Where does this stand with democracy?
3. "The EU is not a matter of everything or nothing. These are compelling arguments for why we believe Britain should be an active member." Although we didn't sign the Schengen Zone agreement, we have little control over our borders, as free movement between EU countries means that most people have headed for the UK where the benefits system has been a big draw. The EU made it policy a few months ago that welfare has to be paid to anyone who arrives on our shores from day one! The EU also plan to bring in their own border control. The EU are already in the process of taking over our coastguards, so there will be no control over our own coasts and borders at all in the future. Mr Mann's argument for the 'benefits' of global competitiveness, global warming and global poverty are almost laughable. Global competitiveness means they want a cheap labour workforce, probably one reason why we have no border control and few jobs given to British workers. Global warming is now a very questionable science with little or no evidence in its favour in respect of either the planet warming, or that carbon has any contribution to this. Carbon appears to be the new 'gold', the EU can deal in CER's (Carbon credits), another tax and something that will cripple any industry that Britain has left, as countries like China and India will not pay for carbon emissions. As for global poverty, whilst charity serves a purpose to help those in terrible need, bringing poverty to the donor nations is hardly right. As with the plans to tax the UK via carbon and 'green technology', draining money from the UK for foreign aid that is not even categorised properly, at a time of deep recession, is beyond belief. How will you explain why people will not be able to buy food or heat their homes in the UK Mr Cameron?
4. "The Government has also introduced a European Union Bill, currently before Parliament, which will give Parliament and voters more say over important EU decisions. This new legislation will ensure that if, in the future, there is a change to EU Treaties that move a power or an area from the UK to the EU, the Government of the day will have to ask for the British people’s consent in a national referendum before it can be agreed. This ‘referendum lock’ ensures that politicians in Whitehall will never again be able to hand over more power to Brussels without asking the British people first." This Bill is virtually useless, the treaties already signed ensure that EU laws override UK legislation and in the Lisbon Treaty there is Article 1-18 Flexibility Clause, which was signed by Gordon Brown. The Flexibility Clause allows anything not already covered in the treaty to be enforced. I say again, is this democratic?
5. "Of course, in its first year in office this Government has been highly active on many other EU issues. We have made a good start in bringing the hitherto inexorable rise of the EU budget under control, saving taxpayers hundreds of millions of pounds. We have ensured that from 2013, Britain can no longer be liable from Eurozone bail-outs, another legacy from the Labour Government we have had to sort out" Our contribution to the EU budget has risen, not stayed the same or fallen. The EU also plan to tax us direct in respect of VAT and fuel etc., Mr Cameron is even on the brink of giving back our rebate, which Mrs Thatcher fought so hard for us to get.
6. "And we are pushing forward measures that will be of benefit to Britain: making sure an EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement was reached, which will mean big new opportunities for British businesses; and ensuring that the lifting of regulatory burdens on businesses, particularly small businesses, is firmly on the EU agenda. We have achieved a good deal in getting the countries of the EU to use their collective weight in the world effectively, such as on tough, targeted sanctions on Iran or action to help countries moving towards democracy in the southern Mediterranean" Britain buys more from other EU countries than it sells to them, The fact that our businesses are failing is due to the red tape issued by Brussels, who tie enterprise in knots! Also boasting about bringing democracy to other countries is shameful, as the EU member countries are losing any democracy they ever had.
7. "The Prime Minister fully understands that our membership of the EU incites strong feels (sic) in many people. But I hope this goes some way to explaining why we believe that an in/out referendum would be highly unlikely properly to settle the question of Britain’s membership of the EU, and also how we are securing the best deal for British people through our active and positive membership, while ensuring that our national sovereignty is protected in the future. Please be reassured that the Prime Minister would never allow our country to slide into a federal Europe." I don't think that either Mr Mann or the Prime Minister has any idea how strong the British public feel about our membership of the EU. If there are 'best deals' why haven't we heard about them? Our sovereignty already appears to have been eroded via the 6 treaties signed since membership of the EU began, wasn't it just a few weeks ago that the government were alarmed to have to debate on wild animals being used in circuses in the UK, as they hadn't had directives from the EU on it? Exactly how much power has the government got left Mr Cameron?

And If Conspiracy Theories Are True..........
Thought for today! If New World Order is happening, and it certainly looks like something sinister is going on with America in financial chaos, as well as the EU countries, then have the people who are running New World Order thought about the future? Transferring money from the West to the developing countries is what they intend. Taking all their companies to China and India and places like that. But the big question is: ONCE IT’S HAPPENED WHO IS GOING TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS? There are too many poor people in China, Africa and India and the other third World countries who can’t all be well off enough to by computers, cars etc. SO WHO?? Just a thought!

Enough is Enough as Dutch Town Puts Block on Unemployed Immigrants Settling
A Dutch town has just announced that from September there will be a ban on unemployed foreigners settling there. Vaals, in the southern province of Limburg says it already has too many EU member country foreigners claiming benefits. The Belgian town of Plombieres announced the same sort of ban last week. This hasn't gone down too well with the EU who are threatening legal action. See full article 'Dutch town bans unemployed Eastern migrants from settling'

Has Multiculturalism Failed in Europe?
The terrible tragedy in Norway has been reported in depth on RT.com and RT television. They examine the future for multiculturalism and the outlook for the European Union in respect of open borders. It's now known that 50% of the Norwegian people are against multiculturalism and Norway, who signed the Schengen open border agreement, have now closed their borders. Does this mean the end of the multiculturalism project in Europe? Maybe people just aren't meant to share a mixture of cultures in the same communities and this terrible terrorist attack by one of Norway's own people may be the tip of the iceberg about how people feel. If this is the case, there is every possibility that this won't be the last such attack in Europe. Do we really want to live in a country where, not only the people are in danger, but where our government have to be driven about in armoured cars and never appear in public, because of growing anger from people feeling displaced and alienated?

Phone Hacking or Gagging the News? Kinnock Gives the Game Away!
What a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive! Most probably you can't believe the amount of news coverage and time parliament has given to the News of the World phone hacking scandal. Well an MEP suggested a little while ago that it may be a smoke screen for something else, and it seems that may be true. Whilst phone hacking is truly shameful and should be dealt with properly, lets get things into scale. The world is in financial meltdown because the Euro countries such as Greece are near to defaulting on their debts, bringing the world's economy crashing down, which will throw the UK as well as other nations, including America into the deepest recession ever. (it's not only the banks who lend the money in the first place who will lose billions, debts are sold on and then other institutions insure them, that's why countries like America are involved too). So what does David Cameron come back home early from Africa to debate on, yes you guessed it, the phone hacking scandal. Media such as the BBC continually appear to censor any news about how deeply we are governed by the EU and only give very limited time to mentioning how badly the Eurozone is doing. It would seem now that the government wants to do the same sort of censorship with the national press. How is hiding bad news the way to go? do they think people won't notice when they can no longer afford to buy food or heat their homes because everything is sky high? Maybe the government think a knight in shining armour is going to come along and save the Euro from the nasty dragon, little hope. Like EU President Barroso said, there is no Plan B if the bailouts don't work.
Now Neil Kinnock has famously let the cat out of the bag by telling how the government would like to censor the press, he announced on the Today program that "the Press should be bound by the same rules of impartiality as the BBC." Only this week the BBC announced that they would give global warming sceptics even less air time than they do now (I don't know how you can add even 'less air time' to the 'no air time' they already gave them, but there you go!).
So looking at the whole picture and the overkill in respect of Mr Murdoch and the News of the World phone hacking, which should just have been dealt with by the police, it looks as if this is a plan to censor our wonderful free press. What next? a total shut down of the internet? is democracy finally dead and buried?

EU Plans To Make British Athletes Wear The European Flag
The people of Britain continue to hear that they will pay more taxes, lose their jobs and foot energy bills which will be sky high due to hidden 'green taxes'. On top of everything else there is the expense of the Olympic Games next year, to which every tax payer has contributed to building the site and the running costs of the coming event. It's supposed to be a British held Olympics and a showcase for the rest of the world. But news in the Daily Express and Daily Mail this morning claims that the EU are branding our own athletes with the EU flag. Maybe people will start to realise how much the UK is being taken apart to be completely under the control of the United States of Europe once these visual EU emblems start to appear. Will this new scheme to fly the EU flag on our athletes' sports gear be discussed in parliament today? I doubt it! Read 'British Teams Forced to Wear EU Flags in today's Daily Express and British Sports Stars Could be Forced to Wear EU Flags on Kits in the Daily Mail. .

Brussels Makes a Grab To Create Its Superstate Whilst British Press Discuss Phone Hacking
Whilst the British news channels are full of nothing but the phone hacking scandal with Rupert Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks, Brussels seems to be grabbing the Eurozone countries by the scruff of the neck to quickly take their sovereignty, by making economical claims on their countries. It looks as if it will be completed by the end of the year or possibly the summer. Therefore finalising their plans for the Federal States of Europe. See article in today's Daily Express by Patrick O'Flynn 'As Italy and Spain wobble, Brussels plots a Superstate' Mr O'Flynn says the good news is the fact that Britain is not in it, however, one of the main areas of the Maastricht Treaty was the aim to include all countries in the single currency, so we will have to wait and see!
Getting back to the phone hacking and Rupert Murdoch closing the News of the World and withdrawing his bid for BSKYB. Politicians are now making out that they want transparency from the press in the future. Does this mean that the national newspapers (besides the Daily Express and the Daily Mail, who are doing an excellent job reporting on the EU), plus the BBC and SKY television news will now include stories about the EU running Britain? Maybe we will have the EU and the Treaties discussed on Question Time, somehow I can't see it. In the meantime we have to rely on RT.com (Russian tv) to hear about the news affecting Britain.

Explosive EU Document Kept Top Secret
MEP Trevor Coleman, who held a very successful UKIP meeting in Bodmin, Cornwall last week, had an original document with him which dated back to the early 1970s when Edward Heath signed the UK over to the ECC (EU). This document was marked 'top secret' for 30 years and it proves that joining the EU just for trade and jobs, was not true. It was known right from the beginning that the UK would lose its freedom to rule itself, its democracy and its sovereignty. The public were not only mislead, but lied to in respect of joining the European Union. You can now see the whole document at thEUnit.com. Watch the video on this page of theEUnit.com as well for information about the document.

EU Smoke and Mirrors
Sometimes things look clear, but when you read further into them they are far from being transparent. A headline in a Westcountry newspaper, the Western Morning News looked for all the world as if a Tory politician was joining the ranks of the many MP's who now want the UK to come out of Europe, as they realised that they have little power to govern Britain without consulting the European Commission. However Conservative MP for Camborne and Redruth, George Eustice, appears to be playing a crafty game for David Cameron. In the guise of someone who doesn't agree with Europe wielding so much clout as far as Britain is concerned, he has convened a group of approximately 100 seemingly Eurosceptic Tory MPs to urge David Cameron to regain power from the EU by staying in Europe. The newspaper states that Mr Eustice says "the group of "moderate" members will seek to exploit frustration among British policymakers who are regularly block by European Union Law. The group is keen to distance itself from hardline anti-EU MPs in the Conservative ranks who make relentless yet unrealistic calls, such as immediate withdrawal from the union."
I'm afraid this would appear to be all smoke and mirrors from Mr Eustice and his group of MPs who are just towing the Cameron party line of reform from within the EU, which the majority of people have wised up to now, as the Coalition have done very little but to give the EU more powers and more taxpayers money. I would assume that Mr Eustice would be creating this situation to divert attention away from the real Eurosceptics and also convince people that they should vote for these 'middle 'safe' players', when in fact they appear to be following the Tory lead.
As I wrote previously, the 6 Treaties have embroiled the UK into the quickly forming Federal States of Europe, signed by each Prime Minister from Edward Heath onwards. The EU, or the Union as they now like to be called continues to grab power with the co-operation of the Coalition and halting it now from within is virtually impossible. As far as the smoke and mirrors are concerned, once clear, the smoke will reveal the amount of the population who now realise that we have lost our sovereignty and our country into foreign hands. One of the very first EU documents, which was kept top secret for 30 years, covered the fact that Britain would lose its sovereignty, this never was just about trading with other EU countries, see thEUnit.com, which has a copy of the document called Sovereignty and the European Communities. There was concern, even then about how the public would react, so there has been a blanket of silence ever since. Cameron take note, the public are catching on fast and getting angry that they no longer have a ruling government and it's time for him to tell the truth about the loss of sovereignty. So what will happen next? the cards are on the table and Mr Eustice can't have it both ways, he is either with Cameron who seeks to impossibly reform from within (he says), or he chooses the route to regain our country and stand loyal to its people.

Both the Dutch and the Danes Make A Stand About EU Border Controls
Could this be the end of the EU Super State dream? The dream that saw European member countries losing their individual nations and becoming just borderless regions in the giant EU bloc? The Danes, who are part of the open borders Schengen Agreement, have decided to restore their borders with Germany and Sweden because of increased crime and drug trafficking brought about by the flow of mostly Eastern European people travelling to Denmark. Likewise the Dutch are in dispute with the EU because they want to deport immigrants who come into Holland and do not find work within 3 months of entry. They also want to stop them claiming welfare as soon as they enter the country. This year Britain was ordered by the EU to pay welfare as soon as someone steps onto British shores, in spite of the newcomers not contributing a penny to the UK. With the shaky position of the Euro and the member countries seeking to control their own borders again, one wonders if other EU countries will follow suit in respect of immigrants and if this spells the end of the whole EU project.

Hazel Blears Signed on the Dotted Line to Merge England With France
Whilst Britain faces austerity cuts, the EU are spending our money on the INTERREG programme. ((we give approximately £50,000,000 a day to the EU without extras like direct Euro Bailout money, IMF (part of which is being used to bailout the Euro countries), or green taxes which are included in our energy and fuel bills by stealth)). The INTERREG program was signed off in Europe by Labour's Hazel Blears and is the project to merge the South of England in with France, calling it Arc Manche or the Transmanche administration region. To promote renaming England and losing our nationality the EU have awarded £37,000 to the English Arthurian Fantasy group and the French Centre de l'Imaginaire Arthurein for a film project called 'Sharing Our Stories'. £40,000 is being spent on the 'Channel Circus Arts Alliance' for a 'better understanding of the new forms of circus'. £192,000 has been granted to the 'DanSCe Dialogues' which is arts and cultural training in dance, to increase collaboration between France and England in the Euro Region. As I reported before there are plans for cross channel cycle lanes with signs with the new Arc Manche logo to make sure we know we are no longer in England. (see Full story in the Daily Mail).
I wonder how Hazel Blears feels about breaking her country apart and putting it into foreign hands!

How Banning Circus Animals Shows The Coalition Are Frightened To Rule The UK
It was such a small subject to debate, something that should have been so easily discussed and supported, because most of the population wanted it too, to see wild animals banned from being used in circuses in the UK. However Tory MP Mark Pritchard, who led the call for the ban, found himself in hot water as it seems he was threatened by the Prime Minister’s office to back down. It’s an important debate because of animal cruelty and their welfare, but it’s not a massive subject that affects the whole nation and there you have it, a British Government scared stiff about passing a law on its own, even a small law, in case it is sued. What further proof do we need that whatever we pay the Prime Minister and all in his cabinet for, is now a waste of money, they hardly make any decisions without consulting the EU. Take a look at these videos from the Bruges Group filmed a few days ago. Zac Goldsmith discusses the circus animal debate, Kate Hoey gives a good history about being in parliament when the EU powers started to bite and David Nuttall argues some great points about why we should leave the EU and all join forces to make it happen.

Understanding What the EU Treaties Mean to the UK

Here is a little bit about the content of the EU Treaties, signed by each British Prime Minister from Edward Heath onwards. The British public have been told that these Treaties only tie up loose ends etc. or that they are too complicated to understand for ordinary people. However, these Treaties DO affect our lives and our future as well as generations of people to come. So here are some of the main topics dealt with in the Treaties and rubber stamped by the British Government:
There have been six EU Treaties in all, none of which have been put to the public vote in England and many other EU countries. The Treaty of Rome wasted no time in taking control of the UK’s fishing industries, destroying many people’s livelihoods and also depleting the stocks of the once abundant fish filled waters around the UK coast. The second Treaty, ‘The Single European Act’ was signed by Margaret Thatcher, and it brought the UK much more into the control of the EU by introducing the Qualified Majority Voting (QMV). This introduced legislation over the working conditions within the EU member countries. The Maastricht Treaty, signed by ex-Prime Minister John Major, made sure that the population would now be truly the Citizenship of the EU System. In this Treaty the European courts were allowed to take jurisdiction over the UK’s courts. The Maastricht Treaty also took control of the Transport system and the Armed Forces. Not only these things, but also the economy; the exchange rate mechanism was tied to the Deutschmark, so the UK no longer controlled its own economy. There is also Regionalisation under this Treaty, the breaking down of countries into regions within the EU, this is going through our parliament at the present time, presented as the Localism Bill. The South of England is already earmarked to become the Arc Manche Region with its capital in Paris.
Tony Blair made sure that he signed the Consolidated Treaty in Amsterdam, without a hint of the public knowing what it was about. This Treaty gave the EU the power of control over local aid, people would need permission from the EU on local matters where they live. For instance, the Post Office in the UK, which deals with mail delivery and saving accounts etc, had a network of shops throughout the country, a lifeline to most people, especially the elderly, some of whom live in remote areas. The EU deemed the Post Office to be unfit, so the EU introduced Competition Laws, saying that the Post Office has unfair advantage over competitors and therefore it should shut many of its branches. And, of course, there is no competition to match the Post Office, it’s just another sorely missed service that the people of the UK are losing, as the EU reduce more of our structured society. The Police are another service the UK may lose as the EU are training their own Police Force; the officers are actually being trained now, and your guess is as good as mine as to whether they will be armed.
The Nice Treaty saw Britain abandoning its veto, therefore if ordered to fund part of the bailout for the countries in the Euro, such as Greece, then Britain has no choice other than to hand the money over. Eurojust, Corpus Juris is the EU criminal justice system which will mean that people will no longer be tried by Jury, plus instead of the prosecutors having to prove a defendant’s guilt, the defendant will be responsible for proving their own innocence. The Nice Treaty also saw an outline for banning political parties and introducing Human Rights, (which has been used by criminals to escape punishment and deportation from countries where they have committed crimes). The EU passed legislation for arrest warrants to be issued in any country in the EU to pick up people in Britain or any other member country, if they are suspected of an offence. There is no appeal in Britain, no evidence has to be shown to the British Authorities, the warrants ensure that the person is taken to the source country and people can be held for up to 9 months in a foreign jail before any charges are brought.
The Lisbon Treat was hastily ratified by the then Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Brown knew that people wanted a referendum on this treaty being signed, but he had little respect for public opinion. This Treaty destroys the British Constitution, on which America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand have based their own Constitutions. The British Constitution, incorporated by the 1000 year old Common Law has been ditched for EU Fundamental rights. It basically means that the EU can withdraw Human Rights as it sees fit. The Lisbon Treaty actually made the EU a State in itself, gave it a personality as a country. Labour Party politician Keith Vaz played this Treaty down to the public by announcing that it had no more effect on the British public than a copy of the Beano (although he has since joined the EU rebels and is supporting a referendum on the membership of Europe), when in fact, it destroyed everything the UK had been built on in respect of human rights. The EU have taken no chances, Prime Minister David Cameron deceived the public when he said he would give them a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty, then he refused, but he declared that he would give a referendum on any changes to the Treaty that would give more power to Europe. He failed to mention article 1-18 Flexibility Clause Pastoral – If the Treaty doesn’t give the EU power, this clause lets it do so!
As you may find, many people still assume that the British Government are ruling the UK because of the lack of media coverage, especially on Britain's tv news channels. So making it a priority to get the information to the people about how the EU countries are now being ruled directly by Brussels, MEP for the UK Independence Party, Trevor Coleman, has a website called thEUnit. Mr Coleman and his 5 colleagues who are working on the website, update it daily with the new EU laws as they are created. They also list the top ten laws that affect the UK the most. The site hasn't got a political slant for UKIP, it is there solely to inform, and they have trained speakers to travel around the country giving talks to inform the public about what is going on. There is no apparent reasons why the government are not putting EU policies on the news, unless they consider that the population will take exception to losing their sovereignty, but how long can they keep up the charade? If you wish to have a speaker come to your area in the SW of Britain, go to thEUnit website for contact details.
Why a Referendum is Unlikely Because of Lords in EU Payroll
The list is full of familiar names, Lord Mandelson Lord Brittan, Lord Clinton-Davis, Lord Richard, Baroness Kinnock and Lord Kinnock, and they have all been on the payroll of the EU earning thousands, (in the Kinnock's case millions). Then, consequently, they are receiving EU pensions. Of course there is a rule for these pensions, if you speak out against the EU you will lose it, so any hint of a Referendum on Europe has the well heeled Peers legging it to Lords to block any bill going through. See the Mail on Sunday for full story:

William Hague Talks About The Royal 'We' - That's Him And The EU
Was it a slip of the tongue? or was it intentional, just to let the public know that the government are no longer representatives of our own country whilst abroad. William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, appeared on the Andrew Marr show this morning and amongst other things he discussed Libya. It was just one line but it cast doubt on Hague's reputation of being a Eurosceptic. He said "We have a whole new partnership with the Arab World" he then added quickly "The European Union and the Arab World". How much longer can this government keep people in the dark about the UK being completely in the power of the EU. It's time that they booked their slot on the BBC to make a public announcement that they are only managers of the UK for the EU.
If Europe is so good for the UK why aren't we hearing about it on the news and Question Time?

Demonstrations in Spain, UK Finances in the Hands of the EU and an Insulting EU Video
Over the last week there have been huge demonstrations in Spain about the loss of jobs and cutbacks. The demonstrations started a week ago, prior to the local elections. There is a possibility that Spain will follow Greece, Ireland and Portugal and have to be bailed out eventually by the other EU member countries. Meanwhile it seems the EU has much more of a hold over the UK economy than people thought, Hector Santas, head of the Financial Services Authority admitted that the UK's financial watchdog was simply a supervisor for the EU. He stated that EU quangos now controlled the UK banks and its financial system. He added that "the PRA will essentially be a supervisory arm of the European regulatory regime." See full story in the Daily Express
In the meantime the EU have released a pretty insulting video on You Tube to all its member countries, you may think this is a child's video because of the little cartoons, but the last phrase telling everyone it's "Time to stick to the rules" leaves us in no doubt who is in control!

Huhne Presses Ahead with the Carbon Agenda Whilst The Warming Scientists Appear Uncertain
At a time when Energy Secretary Chris Huhne has ensured that the UK are signed into an uncertain science by promising the EU to halve our carbon emissions by 2025, there have been two interesting articles in the Daily Mail over the last couple of days. The first one is about the disillusionment of Ratan Tata, the boss of the Indian Tata company (who own the steelworks Corus in the North of England), about continuing to manufacture in the UK. He has pointed out that capping carbon emissions would make it pointless to keep the company open in Britain. He said “EU carbon legislation threatens to impose huge additional costs on the steel industry. Besides, there remains a great deal of uncertainty about the level of further unilateral carbon cost rises that the UK Government is planning.'These measures risk undermining our competitiveness and we must make ourselves stronger in preparation for them.” (Daily Mail 21 May 2011)
This will surely be the conclusion of the majority of our already struggling manufacturers in the UK and I would like to know David Cameron’s thoughts on how he is going to stop businesses moving to countries without emission caps like China and India. Carbon is the new gold and the EU want to sell it back to us to carry on manufacturing. There will also be a huge hike on our energy bills to offset carbon as well and the money is supposed to be used by the EU for new ‘green’ technology. However, windmills just don’t work, they can’t be used when it’s too windy and have to be heated in the cold weather, plus they produce little power. They are also a blot on the landscape wherever these giant windfarms are built. We need modern and safe new nuclear power stations or we will have a future of power cuts and darkness. Once a society such as ours, which is run on technology, no longer has an adequate supply of electricity and other fuels, then the whole infrastructure will collapse. People will die of the cold as they will not be able to pay their fuel bills. You have to ask, if energy is to be so limited and so expensive, why are we allowing so many people to settle in this country from abroad, when surely this not only puts a strain on our resources, but also adds to our carbon emissions.
Just to prove that the science isn’t a closed matter in respect of carbon and global warming, the original scientists themselves are sounding uncertain about the predictions they made which started the whole scam in the first place. Read David Rose’s article ‘That carbon budget: even the scientists aren’t sure about global warming now’ and see for yourself how no one has put forward any evidence for the case of carbon, as they are still referring to computer models, which can be altered or incorrectly edited as the ‘Climategate’ emails implied. (note: the article starts half way down the page.)

The EU to Spend £225million of Taxpayer's Money to Promote the EU and Fly the Flag Military Style
David Cameron decided not to fly the Europe Flag in Downing Street to mark Europe Day, it looks like he may be trying to avoid the anger of the British public, who are now realising that we no longer have a democracy and that decisions about every aspect of our lives are being made in Brussels, not by the EU managers, the British Government. You won't see the BBC or other main channels broadcasting any news about the EU either, as secrecy and stealth seem to be the way our politicians seem to want it. However there were demonstrations in the UK against Europe Day with people shredding the EU flag in protest. Even in Europe itself there was a protest, see the video below. It emerged yesterday that Europe are to spend £225 million of our tax money on propaganda and spin over the next year. We suffer cut backs and they spend our money to promote themselves.
Take a look at this video of the flag ceremony in Europe yesterday and judge for yourself how they are making themselves into a super state.

UK Threatened With Fines For Not Flying EU Flag

Brussels have threatened to issue fines if the EU flag is not flown on public buildings to commemorate Europe Day on May 9. What's more officials will have to take a photograph of the flags as evidence that they are, in fact, in position for that week. Europe Day is held each year to celebrate 'the achievements of Brussels'. (Anyone wanting to send me a list of the achievements of Brussels in the UK please do). The EU even plan to contact schools in the UK to recommend how their pupils should celebrate Europe Day. This is plainly the EU leaving their visible mark, yet again, in the UK and wasting taxpayer's money in the process. The EU has not the slightest bit of interest in the fact that the people of Britain are struggling against the cut-backs, whilst Europe take millions of pounds each day from Britain, they are really rubbing the UK's nose in it with their display of their sheer vanity of power. The Coalition and the Labour party should be deeply ashamed that, with their consent, they are no longer ruling or looking after the people of Britain.

EU Wipes England Off The Map
Hidden inside the Daily Mail today, instead of on the front pages, lies a very worrying story indeed. The EU are pressing ahead to merge England and France. I can only think that the Royal Wedding week was a good time for them to cover up 'bad' news in the press, so people would be otherwise preoccupied. The EU are effectively planning to wipe England off the map, instead there will be a region named Arc Manche and its capital will be Paris, even having its own President who is already in office, Alain Le Vern. See:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1382263/The-EU-trying-wipe-map-Brussels-merges-England-France-new-Arc-Manche-region--FLAG.html
Whilst Local Government Secretary Eric Pickles throws up his hands in shock, he would have known about this for years and the Coalition like the previous governments have done nothing to stop England being swallowed up into the Europe Super State. The Daily Mail states:
“The logo is described by its designers as a ‘series of concentric circles symbolising the flow of projects . . . and bridges between territories’.
It includes the word Interreg, a contraction of inter-regional – the name of a £1billion-a-year EU initiative to reduce the influence of national borders and increase cooperation between countries.
The design will be emblazoned on EU ‘vanity projects’ in the cross-Channel area, including:
* A £7.6million network of ‘cross-Channel’ cycle lanes.
* A £5.5million scheme to pay for circus clowns to perform throughout the Arc Manche region.
* A £2million programme of cross-Channel ‘contemporary art’ tours.”
So along with the huge wast of money for the privilege of losing our nation, they even have the nerve to treat the British public with contempt by using circus clowns to spread the news and you can bet your life who is paying for this!

The Truth About The State Of The Euro
Whilst the Coalition squabble amongst themselves about the AV vote system, they turn people's attention away from what really matters, How the EU are buying their own debts and dragging the Euro member countries down, how it will drag the UK down with the Euro member's bailouts and how the whole thing is nearing total collapse. Take a look at this video of UKIP leader Nigel Farage who is an expert on finance. Particularly see the end of the video where he challenges the non-democratic EU's power over its member countries. We haven't had much coverage in our media about the demonstrations in Greece, no doubt the BBC choose to bury this along with the assistance of Europhiles Lib Dems, Labour and Tories.

The Poisonous Light Bulbs and Carbon Lies
It’s reported in the Daily Mail this week that energy saving light bulbs send out cancer causing chemicals, and scientists now say they should not be used in close proximity with a persons head or be used for long periods. It has always been known that if broken, the bulbs were a danger because they contain mercury. However German research has shown that the bulbs also emit carcinogenic steam when switched on. In their mania to convert us away from carbon emissions, the EU have ruled that old incandescent bulbs are to be phased out by the end of next year. In view of these findings in respect of the ‘green’ bulbs, this will be a test of how they really regard the health and safety of the public to whom they are enforcing their CO2 theory in respect of global warming.
In fact the planet hasn’t warmed for the last decade, carbon is a plant food, which, when higher levels are recorded, helps to yield better crops. Lord Christopher Monckton, Deputy Leader of UKIP, has recently written an article about how this carbon fraud, with the help of Climate Change Secretary Chris Huhne, will make the EU very rich indeed. See ‘Make Dictators Rich Week!’. Lord Monckton has an impressive past with a wealth of scientific knowledge and he has shown through many articles just how the public have been frightened and conned by the threat of global warming of the planet being caused by CO2. The case for CO2 causing global warming has been awash with scandal, the very people who carried out the research at East Anglia University from which most of the carbon theory was spread, were found to have fraudulently altered their evidence, which only came to light after their emails had been hacked into.
The EU are still pressing ahead with ‘green’ taxes and enforcing green technology on us even though there is no real evidence for carbon being any danger at all. Carbon makes up 2% of greenhouse gasses, the rest is water vapour, and of that 2% of carbon, only 2% is said to be man-made. The EU are setting up carbon trading, and in that, our emissions from carbon will be capped, making us buy carbon via CER’s (carbon trading certificates). To be able to manufacture goods or even just to live, we will be paying for this excess of carbon above what the EU have decided is our limit (a limit the Labour government signed to). China and India who produce most of the world’s carbon because of their massive industry infrastructures won’t be capped at all and can sell carbon back to us. Not only will they be the sole producers of goods eventually, we will be paying them for the privilege because we will be tied into buying carbon.
The EU are using carbon to control us, they are treating it like the new ‘gold’, we are literally buying fresh air and in a latest survey in the UK it’s clearly shown that the majority of people know it’s a scam. How much longer will this fraud be allowed to continue, it’s our money and our lives they are playing with

UK Suffers Cuts Whilst EU Demands More Money
Whilst the cutbacks planned and implemented in the UK should save around £6.2billion, the EU are demanding another 6% raise in their annual budget, which would make the UK’s contribution nearly 10billion a year (more than £400 extra from every household in the UK.) See the full story in the Daily Express, where UKIP’s Nigel Farage speaks out and Euro MP Daniel Hannan says he doesn’t know why protesters aren’t taking to the streets. UK Would Have to Leave EU to Reverse ECHR's Ruling on Prisoner's Votes
Over the last few days the question of prisoners being allowed to vote has been in the news. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) have ruled that the ban on allowing prisoners to vote in elections is against the law because of the prisoner’s Human Rights! Therefore we must reverse our laws, which date back a 140 years, in respect of prisoners forfeiting their rights to vote once they go to prison. A great many people are saying that the ECHR are actually the same as the European Union, whilst others are pointing out that in fact the ECHR and the EU are two separate bodies, which in fact they are. However, you can’t have one without the other if you are a country within the EU. As much as David Cameron gives lip service about ignoring the ECHR’s decision to overrule the UK’s laws which stop prisoners from voting, he knows very well that to defy the ECHR is to defy the European Union.
The EU requires that all members be signatories of the European Convention on Human Rights and to accept the rulings and jurisdictions of the ECHR that enforces it, therefore the ECHR overrules the sovereignties of the EU member countries. The only way to govern ourselves and to relinquish the power held over us by the ECHR is to leave the EU and pull out of the convention and the jurisdiction of the European Court.
So in spite of Mr Camerson throwing his hands up in shock at being told to give prisoners the vote, it would seem that he knew all along that he cannot defy the rulings of the ECHR, because the UK would have to leave the EU to do so. So at the end of the day we are totally under the ECHR’s jurisdiction and unable to enforce our own rulings, should the ECHR decide to reverse them.

EU Plan Direct Taxes From the UK
The EU are trying to increase their powers over the UK to become a ruling State by proposing to tax the British people at source. Yes people of the United Kingtom, the European Commission are demanding to take extra taxes off of us all by implementing the following:
Financial transaction tax, an Emissions Trading Scheme (selling carbon, of which harm as a greenhouse gas is disputed by many eminent scientists), Air transport tax, EU VAT (astonishing this one!) and Energy tax.
Take a look at how Nigel Farage is speaking up for the UK and I would like to think the people of the other member states get to see this video too, because in their times of austerity, like us, they will not want to pay to belong to a community where they get nothing back for the billions they are paying in:

President Van Rompuy Tries To Steal UK's Thunder Over Libya
In an article in the Daily Express today the un-elected president of Europe, Herman Van Rompuy, is claiming victory for the EU, saying that they have saved Libya from a bloodbath because of Brussels diplomacy. He stated in his speech “From the beginning, the European Union was at the forefront. Without European leadership there would have been massacres. We acted in time and without Europe nothing would have been done at the global level or at the UN level.”

To Vote For AV Or Not! I Asked UKIP Their Views
AV, or Alternative Voting, has been a little confusing for people and the decision whether or not to vote for this new system is a pretty important one. In view of this, I telephoned UKIP’s head office to ask if they supported AV against the ‘first past the post’ method used at the present time. They told me that, although AV isn’t a perfect way of counting votes, it is better than the present system. With AV people have a chance to list all those they would like to see get in, even if their first choice doesn’t get enough votes, the others still stand a chance, (i.e. in a list of 1 to 5 candidates of your choice, number 1 would be your favourite to win the seat and the others your alternative choices, should number 1 not get enough votes, the votes for the others are then counted). The person voted for must get 50% of the overall votes to be elected, so if they don’t get that many, the votes for the second most popular candidate are counted and the same applies, they must get 50% of the votes to get in. This is carried on until one of the people listed get the right percentage. This gives parties like UKIP a fairer crack of the whip. However, in respect of their fantastic success in Barnsley, UKIP will most probably be first on the list with many people at the next election should AV take effect or not. The Conservatives for one seem very rattled at this type of voting getting in and this says a lot about how worried they must be that UKIP will finally win, as they will at last be on a level playing field.

The Un-Elected Swedish Human Rights Chief Attacks UK On Prisoner's Votes Issue

Un-elected by the British people, Thomas Hammarberg, the Council for Human Rights Commissioner insisted that a 140-year-old-ban on inmates taking part in elections could not be justified. He says "That approach does not correspond to the European values of our times." He says in an article published on-line that the court's judgment "was not particularly popular in the UK" He also added that "democracy was once established through the idea of universal suffrage. To be deprived of this right (to vote) is to be declared an outcast, a non-person." So where and how do we vote on your position Mr Hammarberg, maybe you would like to comment on this blog and tell us!

Cameron Quietly Gives Yet More Power Away to the EU
The coalition are quietly and without consulting anyone, pushing through more powers to the EU to take control of our finances, which in the end, will result in Europe being able to tax us directly. Tory MP’s were apparently very angry that plans for an EU annual “growth survey” were approved yesterday in the absence of a Commons debate. The Un-elected EU President, Herman van Rompuy, has passed a motion that obliges the Treasury to give statistics to Brussels, including details of the UK Budget. Critics say that the move paves the way for Eurocrats to impose crippling taxes on the UK taxpayers. UKIP leader Nigel Farage said “It is time that David Cameron stopped governing by deceit. This shows us that he is secretly giving away more and more of our ability to govern ourselves.”

UKIP MEP Discloses How Much The UK Pays To The EU Each Day - And It's Scandalous!
A few days ago I wrote about how much the UK pays just to belong to the EU, and I stated that I would try to find out more about the actual sums involved and what we get out of it. Well, today in the Daily Express, Gerard Batten who is a UKIP MEP for London has given us just such information. He states that since he became an MEP in 2004, he has tried to unravel just how much the EU costs Britain and what the benefits are, if any. The outcome is truly horrendous, we pay £77 billion a year, costing each and every one of us, men, women and children, £1,246. Direct and indirect payments, minus the UK rebate are £147,000 per minute!!!. In 2000-2006 our net contribution was £21.3 billion, whilst the current budget, ending in 2013 will probably cost the British taxpayer around £42 billion. Mr Batten’s findings showed that in the budget to 2006, £80 billion was handed over to the EU and we received just under £59 billion in rebate. The UK was the largest net contributor after Germany. Mr Batten says in the Daily Express “Much of this money is wasted with little accountability and little say for the taxpayers.” In the same article a European Commission spokeswoman said “The UK contributes to the EU budget, like any other member state. But it equally enjoys the benefit of EU membership, most of which are difficult to quantify in cash. There are things like living in peace, security and democracy in the largest single market of the world, with many cross-border benefits when travelling, studying, using mobile phones, etc.” (Democracy? The European Commission, the people in charge of the policy-making cannot be voted in or out by the people of the member states!). In other words, uncontrolled immigration, the chance to trade and nothing else. However, the article by Mr Batten also reveals that since 1973, Britain has accumulated a massive £438 billion trade deficit with the EU countries. In spite of belonging to the EU, we sell mostly to the US and the English speaking world. EU countries sell more to the UK than we sell to them. He states “If we left the EU tomorrow, they would still continue to trade with us.” Mr Batten challenges the coalition to prove that being a member of the EU is beneficial to the UK by commissioning an independent cost-benefit analysis. I don’t think we should hold our breaths on whether they will take up the challenge, do you!

Britain Pays £48,000,000 Each and Every Day to the EU
The demonstrations that went on in London yesterday were basically about the cutbacks being made by the Coalition Government and feelings are running high in Britain about the pain being inflicted on people who will lose jobs or have their wages frozen or scaled back. Understandable the Coalition has the biggest problem any government could have taken on, especially with Labour's legacy of spend, spend, spend. On leaving office Labour left the final insult, a note declaring there was no money left in the kitty. It's been with amazing arrogance that Labour politicians appear publicly at the present time (usually on the BBC) denying their involvement in bringing this country to its knees. Although most people accept Britain's deficit and know that the Coalition are trying to get us back into shape, what they don't publicise, as Labour never did, is how much we give to the European Union each and every day; £48,000,000 a day just to be a member, yes FORTY-EIGHT-MILLION A DAY!! and rising! (If my figure is a conservative one I would appreciate your comments, my aim is to pinpoint all the money actually handed over to Europe without us getting anything back.) We have also had to contribute to the countries who joined the Euro and have gone under, like Ireland and Greece (and now Portugal and possibly Spain next). We aren't even in the Euro, yet we still have to shore up these ailing countries, and thanks to Alistair Darling, we are committed to this until 2013 (The then Chancellor, Darling hurriedly signed a contract with Europe tying us into this as a parting shot before he left office). We've paid approximately 6 billion to Ireland already and this is a similar amount that Cameron is planning to claw back by the cut backs in Britain.
The present government continues to give billions of pounds away each year in foreign aid and they have no plans to reduce this amount. China, unlike Britain, do not give aid to Africa, they are investing in Africa instead, opening up mines, building cities and railways, even bringing their own people in to use as a workforce instead of using the local population, yet we go on pumping money into Africa without knowing exactly what this British tax payer's money is being spent on.
There is only one party who will save us from Europe and the EU's gradual take-over of all our finances and laws and that's UKIP (The United Kingdom Independent Party). I will be bringing you a brief outline of their manifesto to show you that they aren't a one agenda party, they care about the British population and they care about keeping our sovereignty. British tax-payers should be respected and their contributions should be properly and openly used, putting Britain and the British people first.

The Dangers of Full EU Control Over Britain

There are many well informed people in Britain who realise just exactly what is happening. People are getting angrier and angrier as we spiral towards losing our sovereignty. Plus they see the government selling off many of our assets to foreign companies, whilst using mass Immigration, Political Correctness, Human Rights and Climate Change inaccuracies as a means of control over law abiding citizens. I wanted to start this blog, to explain, in plain English, exactly what is happening and bring to light every little aspect of the changes being made to our lives by these faceless people of the EU. They plan to remove our democracy with the blessings of the Conservatives, The Liberal Democrats and the Labour Party. I also want ordinary people, who are not generally interested in politics, to realise just what the future holds. If we do not act now to leave this EU monster state, then we will no longer have a sovereignty or a democracy or a country come to that, we will be nothing more than a region in Europe and a means of cheap labour for the fat cats who will rule us. Leaving won't stop us trading with the other EU members and remaining on good terms with them, but it will secure our future as a free democratic nation.
