Why a Referendum is Unlikely Because of Lords in EU Payroll

The list is full of familiar names, Lord Mandelson Lord Brittan, Lord Clinton-Davis, Lord Richard, Baroness Kinnock and Lord Kinnock, and they have all been on the payroll of the EU earning thousands, (in the Kinnock's case millions). Then, consequently, they are receiving EU pensions.  Of course there is a rule for these pensions, if you speak out against the EU you will lose it, so any hint  of a Referendum on Europe has the well heeled Peers legging it to Lords to block any bill going through.
