Whilst the British news channels are full of nothing but the phone hacking scandal with Rupert Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks, Brussels seems to be grabbing the Eurozone countries by the scruff of the neck to quickly take their sovereignty, by making economical claims on their countries. It looks as if it will be completed by the end of the year or possibly the summer. Therefore finalising their plans for the Federal States of Europe. See article in today's Daily Express by Patrick O'Flynn 'As Italy and Spain wobble, Brussels plots a Superstate' Mr O'Flynn says the good news is the fact that Britain is not in it, however, one of the main areas of the Maastricht Treaty was the aim to include all countries in the single currency, so we will have to wait and see!
Getting back to the phone hacking and Rupert Murdoch closing the News of the World and withdrawing his bid for BSKYB. Politicians are now making out that they want transparency from the press in the future. Does this mean that the national newspapers (besides the Daily Express and the Daily Mail, who are doing an excellent job reporting on the EU), plus the BBC and SKY television news will now include stories about the EU running Britain? Maybe we will have the EU and the Treaties discussed on Question Time, somehow I can't see it. In the meantime we have to rely on RT.com (Russian tv) to hear about the news affecting Britain.
